Someone who blends intellectual depth with a grounded, adventurous spirit. My career in nursing and litersture work both reflect a commitment to clear, (mostly) compassionate communication.
I have a continued academic curiosity and currently feel the pull into journalism ethics, media literacy, and the social forces that shape public understanding. I’m taking action on that pull through enrollment at American Military University, pursuing a degree in Communications with s focus on Mass Communications and Digital Tools in Media.
For years I worked as a travel nurse and immediately fell in love with discovering new places. I was frustrated with the profession but grateful for the opportunities it provided me. I’m sure like most people, balance is key; it could not be truer for me, the counterpart to all the cerebral energy is weather‑dependent outdoor pursuits: snowboarding in winter, paddleboarding in summer, and anything that lets me sync up with the natural world.
My life is a mix of analytical rigor, creative expression, and seasonal adventure. Ideally, I’ll polish how to think deeply, communicate with purpose, and live in a way that keeps me connected to both people and place.
